This past summer, I got to hang with my friend, photographer Kristin Chalmers and second shoot for her at an awesome wedding. The bride and groom were great and so was working with Kristin. There are a ton of photos in this post, so bear with me.
The city of Boston, as seen from the Cambridge Hyatt.
One of the bride's little babies!
The rings!
As the second shooter, I got some quality time with the groom and the groomsmen. Be prepared for some awesomeness!
I wish I could collage all these, but alas, that's a skill (or software) I haven't acquired yet! I'll need to look around and see what I can find. These photos would look great all together.
All the men.
Some portraits during portrait time.

Oh, My Mama Loves Me
I love photographing babies! Little Annabelle was only a week old when I showed up to take her photo and she was a perfect model! This little one slept peacefully through her entire session.
So tiny!
Baby toes!
Thank you, Michelle & Adam for welcoming me into your home! Your little baby is adorable!

You're My Steady Beat
In August, I had the pleasure of second shooting for my friend Mark of Mark Andrew Photography. Together, we photographed Beth & Chris' beautiful and fun-filled wedding day! As the second shooter, my job was to hang back a little and try to get some different angles on the day. Here are some of my favorites from the day...
The receiving line.
The bridesmaids.
The groom.
The wedding party.
The bride.
The bride and groom.
The cake.
The favors.
The sun is setting...
Bustling.
The first dance.
To see more from Beth & Chris' wedding, check out the photos on Mark's blog!

At Long Last Love Has Arrived
Sue & John are amazing. Their family and friends are amazing. Their wedding was amazing. It's as simple as that.
Their first dance was to "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" by Frankie Valli. Here's a little snippet to put you in the mood...
Pardon the way that I stare.
There's nothing else to compare.
The sight of you leaves me weak.
There are no words left to speak,
But if you feel like I feel,
Please let me know that it's real.
You're just too good to be true.
Can't take my eyes off you.
If you can believe it, Sue wore her grandmother's wedding shoes. Take that, Jimmy Choo!
The bride getting ready.
The wedding bouquet, complete with rosary.
Go go Gadget Lashes!
Putting on the gorgeous dress.
My second shooter, Julie took this photo of John at the church.
Married!
See? (this photo also taken by Julie)
I don't usually post wedding party shots, but this one pretty much rocks my world.
And one dancing photo for good measure.
I am now exhausted from posting all these photos! You should check out the rest of the photos here. There are way too many good ones to post them all individually so the slideshow is where it's at!
As for me, I am posting this from sunny Los Angeles! I was out on the west coast to photograph a wedding in San Diego and am also spending time in my former 'hood. I have been staying quite busy, seeing LA stuff I haven't seen before and hanging out with friends. All in all, an awesome time. I have lots of photos to come home with!

Let There Be Songs To Fill the Air
Anne was my freshman year roommate at Colby and, last summer, Doug & I photographed her & Tim's wedding. This summer, we trekked up to Vermont to photograph their new baby!
Meet Mr. Bhodi...
I was lucky enough to catch this little smile! I love it when babies smile in their sleep.
Mom & baby.
The family! Anne & Tim are super laid-back, so I wanted to capture some laid-back family photos for them.
They had this little bench in their yard, so we had to use it in the photos.
Dad & baby.
This photo makes me laugh because Bhodi looks like a rapper. Yo yo yo!
And no Anne & Tim blog post would be complete without a photo of Banjo!
I've been working on a sample baby announcement featuring Bhodi, which I'll have to post later. Right now I have to scoot out the door to go photograph a farm!
