Shannon and Mike, Engagement Session: My Feelings Can't Describe It

When Shannon, Mike, and I met up at Bear Brook State Park in New Hampshire for their engagement session, there was a light dusting of snow on the ground. It was October. At that point, we actually thought there was more snow in our future. Ah, the fickle New England weather! We had some gorgeous foliage to play with out in the woods and Shannon and Mike were only too happy to oblige! I love the way they laugh together - it's heartwarming. Take a look at the photos!

Fun fact: When I first met with Shannon and Mike, after we had talked all about their wedding and my photography, the discussion turned to beer. I don't know how, but at some point I mentioned Newport Storm. It's a brewery started by four guys who went to Colby with me (let it be known they were a few years older), one of whom was my COOT leader. Anyway, turns out it's one of Mike's favorite beers! Sometimes it really is a small world! Shannon and Mike, I am so looking forward to your wedding in Providence this summer! Yay!
